Optimize current UX
From our users' feedback, we find that it's easy to trigger shut-down button accidentally, resulting in confusing user experience. After clarifying all kinds of technical and manufacturing constraints, I proposed several solutions to address this problem.

Deliverables
- Interaction Flow
- Onboarding Experience Redesign
- Addressing False Trigger of Shutting Down
From Storytelling Bot to Storytelling App
I worked closely with developers to deliver a storytelling mobile app (MVP), which enables users to enjoy hi-fi experience that provided on bots, eventually to motivate users to buy our bots.
- Storytelling App
- Special Phone Stand

Prototype Tool
I designed a prototype tool for internal UX team to help them iterate and testify ideas fast.

WHAT I LEARNED
Hardware interaction is multimodal with multiple inputs and outputs, instead of visual-dominated, for which I transited my mindset from screen-based design to multimodal design.
The channels of interaction on hardware have relative lower affordance and signifier which requires more creative solutions.
Bot personality offers interaction design an advantageous edge in ideating solutions.
